How Pirsonal Keeps Data Secure and Anonymous

Pirsonal is ISO 27001-certified, GDPR-compliant, and offers EU and US data residency, as well as custom options in oder reginos. The platform is designed to minimize exposure of personally identifiable information (PII) while keeping workflows simple for your team.

Here’s how it works:

1. Pirsonal creates a unique, anonymized video ID for every video

This ID is used across:

  • Pirsonal Pages (personalized landing pages)
  • Pirsonal Player (interactive video player)
  • Pirsonal Widget (re-engagement widget)
  • Video files and hosting URLs

These IDs do not contain personal data.

2. Your internal data remains private

Only you, as the Pirsonal account owner, see which contact corresponds to which video ID.

You can associate each video ID with fields such as:

  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • CRM or user ID
  • Internal reference numbers

This data is visible only inside your Pirsonal account when you log in or when consuming Pirsonal’s API—not publicly.

3. You choose what data to send to Pirsonal

Pirsonal only requires the fields used in the video template (e.g., dynamic text, images, video clips, audio, etc.). You control exactly what data is shared or attached to every video.

4. Optional: You can override the video ID in your systems

Some clients use their own identifiers (e.g., CustomerID, MemberID) and map them to Pirsonal’s anonymized video ID. This is a custom configuration on the client side and often requires database configuration on their side.

How to Send Messages from Your Own Platform

Whether you’re sending 200 or 200,000 videos, the workflow is always straightforward.

Option 1: Use the CSV File Provided by Pirsonal (Most Common)

For every template, Pirsonal generates a spreadsheet with the following information on a per video basis:

  • Video ID: This is used to populate the file URL, landing pages, and different assets Pirsonal automatically creates for each video.
  • Video metadata: This includes file name, creation time, size, processing time, and more.
  • Landing page metadata: Including title, description, logo, Custom CSS, and embedded content.
  • Video player metadata: Including call-to-action information, and more.
  • Video status: Done, error, processing, queue.

You simply upload this CSV into your existing email/SMS/… system.

Example:

Import CSV into HubSpot → Send email using your own From address

Import CSV into Salesforce → Use Flow to trigger messages

Import CSV into Mailchimp → Create a personalized merge field

Import CSV into your internal tool → Send via your approved domain

This method is:

  • Fast
  • Secure
  • Familiar for most marketing ops teams
  • 100% controlled internally

Option 2: Use Webhooks to Send Data in Real Time

Each Pirsonal template supports secure webhooks. When a video is ready, Pirsonal automatically sends a payload to your system—typically including:

  • Video ID
  • Video metadata
  • Landing page metadata
  • Video player metadata
  • Video status

Your system uses this payload to trigger emails or notifications automatically.

Option 3: Use Pirsonal’s API

For engineers or integrators, Pirsonal’s API (JSON-RPC) allows complete automation:

  • Trigger video creation
  • Fetch video statuses
  • Pull video metadata
  • Programmatically pass URLs to your own communication tools
  • And more.

This is ideal for productized workflows or apps that deliver personalized experiences at scale.

Option 4 (Optional): Pirsonal Can Send Emails/SMS for You

Some clients—especially agencies or fast-moving without access to their internal CRM or marketing communication tools—prefer Pirsonal’s Professional Services to manage distribution on a per-project basis.

When we manage distribution:

  • We configure the sending domain
  • We handle email/SMS setup
  • We take care of timing, sequencing, and deliverability
  • We send reports after launch

This is optional and project-based.

Does Pirsonal Allow Custom From Addresses When We Send Email? Yes—if Pirsonal manages distribution for you.

When Pirsonal sends the emails/SMS:

  • You can use your own From name
  • You can use your own From address
  • You can authenticate your sending domain (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) if needed
  • Again, most clients prefer to send from their own infrastructure to keep everything within their existing controls.
